Peggy studied art with Sandee Sander at ArtReach and Danny Broadway both in Memphis. She attended classes at the Memphis, College of Art and studied with several nationally recognized artists, including Ann Templeton in New Mexico and Ann Enochs from Memphis.
Her passion as an artist began in her youth one Christmas when she received a "Paint By Numbers" present. She finished all 4 paintings before anyone in the house was up.
Prior to her journey back into art, Peggy was a Real Estate Broker to help support her daughter through college. She then "went from selling houses to painting pictures of houses".
Her work has been in local restaurants, Memphis Botanic Gardens, Palladio's Antiques and Interiors. Most recently, her work was accepted by The Eastern Shore Art Council, which has an annual national art festival in Fairhope, Alabama. Peggy is currently a member of the Memphis/Germantown Art League and Art Link.
Each of her paintings has a unique pallet, vibrant in color, expressing a genuine and many times playful connection with her subject.
